30/05/06 - NEC Present Flights Hallmark driver Peter Powell with "High5" Award
Flights Hallmark driver Mr Peter Powell was awarded with a "High5" Award by Andrew Morris, Chief Executive of the NEC Group
A high5 award is presented to a person who has been nominated for exceptional service and it is only normally given to a member of the NEC staff.
Peter received a small 'trophy' and £100 in cash. Mr Andrew Morris said whilst presenting the award to Peter:
"The first winners' smiley and cheerful disposition was described by one visitor as 'infectious'. He was incredibly welcoming after a visitor had spent a really long time in the car getting here to visit Spring Fair. His humorous, upbeat attitude brought a smile to so many visitors - he was a real ray of sunshine at the wheel of a shuttle bus. He generated such a fabulous impression of The NEC and such a warm welcome to venue and to the country for foreign visitors to the UK.
His manner was described as "so rare in customer service that he should be rewarded" so that's exactly what we're doing.
Join me in congratulating Peter Powell from Flights".
